Government Administration
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of citywide leadership development initiatives for people leaders, including researching topics, interviewing subject matter experts, developing training content, building facilitation guides and supporting materials, coordinating logistics, preparing program materials and gathering feedback
Collaborate with the Learning + Development team to brainstorm ideas, refine content, and ensure consistency
Provide support during workshops and training sessions, including setup, participant engagement, and post-session follow-up
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate students with a strong academic record or who graduated in the last 12 months from an accredited university
Majoring in business, education, communication or a related field
Be able to commit to the entire internship program
Applicants must be able to pass City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation
Criminal Justice Information System background check (CJIS)
