Responsibilities
Perform customer installations according to install order which includes drawings and specific directions
Operate a boom truck, workout of baskets, lifts, scaffolding and perform work while on ladders
Use and operate a wide variety of power tools, ranging from drills to jackhammers, arch welding and stick welding, band saws, drills, and table saws
Complete required documentation for each job site and participate in safety training and inspections
Abide by all OSHA, DOT, site specific and Allen Industries safety regulations when in Allen Facilities and when working at a customer site
Perform site surveys
Ensure all signs and building materials arrive damage free
Up to 75% travel is required for this position including extended stays and possible weekends
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to read blue prints and manufacturing documents and drawings
General knowledge of electronic circuitry
A valid driver's license
Ability to get a CDL/DOT medical card
Ability to read blue prints and interpret sign/shop drawings and specifications
Ability to read a tape measure
Proficient in Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience
Two years of experience in Installation, service, construction or similar industry
Preferred
Sign industry experience preferred
