Responsibilities
Lead daily operations across projects, teams, and shared resources to ensure work is staffed, scheduled, and executed efficiently
Partner with owners and department leaders to identify operational bottlenecks and implement sustainable fixes (SOPs, workflows, checklists)
Own key operating metrics such as utilization, timeliness, work quality, and billing/invoice accuracy—and drive improvements through clear expectations and follow-through
Strengthen timesheet, expense, and invoicing discipline through better controls, training, and escalation paths (in partnership with Accounting/Finance)
Build visibility into workload, priorities, and project health; improve forecasting and reduce unplanned work and rework
Improve role clarity, performance expectations, and accountability across onsite and remote employees
Support growth by helping with estimating, MSAs, RFP responses, change orders, and operational readiness for new opportunities
Champion effective use of tools and systems to reduce shadow tracking and manual workarounds
Qualification
Required
Proven operations leadership experience (professional services, field services, consulting, construction/ROW/title, or similar project-based environments preferred)
Strong process improvement mindset—able to implement clear workflows and measurable results
Comfortable leading through accountability: setting standards, coaching, and escalating when needed
Solid understanding of operational finance fundamentals (job costing, utilization, billing cycles, margins)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across leadership, admin, and field teams
High integrity and commitment to accurate time tracking and ethical billing
