Responsibilities
Own all production and repair test activities in support of assigned products
Design, develop, and implement cost-effective test and troubleshooting solutions across product development and manufacturing phases
Author and maintain test procedures, specifications, and documentation through formal change management processes
Prepare and maintain test and diagnostic programs
Design test fixtures and equipment for new and existing products
Partner with operations teams to establish test plans and support production throughput
Support test solution transitions between factories during product acquisitions
Present program status, capital requests, and continuous improvement initiatives to management
Apply strong analog and digital troubleshooting skills down to the component level
Utilize software programming or diagnostic tools to aid troubleshooting
Proactively communicate operational and technical risks and opportunities within the business unit
Provide regular performance and status updates to the Engineering Manager
Communicate clearly with technicians, engineers, and leadership across varying audiences
Support the operations build plan by providing technical solutions that drive productivity
Work effectively in both team-based and independent environments with minimal supervision
Remain adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment while driving long-term progress
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
Minimum of 8 years of direct industry experience as an Engineer, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to manage ambiguity and change in a manufacturing environment
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Will occasionally work with chemical and bonding agents
