InternAegis Aerospace, Inc. is seeking motivated service members transitioning from active duty who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in Information Technology (IT) through the DoD SkillBridge program. This internship provides an opportunity to develop technical and professional skills in a real-world help desk environment while supporting Aegis Aerospace’s IT operations at their Webster, TX headquarters.

Responsibilities
Respond to and document help desk tickets, phone calls, and service requests
Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop systems
Support user account creation, password resets, and basic network access issues
Help maintain IT asset inventory and equipment check-out processes
Learn fundamentals of Active Directory, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365
Gain exposure to cybersecurity best practices and corporate IT policies
Collaborate with the IT team to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
Provide friendly, professional customer service to internal employees
Qualification
Required
Must be a current active-duty U.S. service member within 365–180 days of separation or retirement
Must meet all eligibility requirements of the DoD SkillBridge program and obtain command approval prior to start date
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Demonstrated interest in information technology (education, certifications in progress, or personal projects)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Working toward or recently completed coursework or certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and networking concepts
Eagerness to learn and grow within the IT field
