Responsibilities
Main Priority is repairing all pneumatic guns for the Sikorsky production employees
Completing preventive maintenance, tours, and repair work orders in mixed lab and office facility
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations
General interior maintenance and lite carpentry tasks
Basic plumbing skills, sink, faucet, toilet repair, etc
Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed
Replace lighting and ballasts
Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts
Eager to learn from the existing team as well as bring personal experience to the group. Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary
Understand and follow PPE requirements and signage
Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work. areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled
Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
Ability to navigate the web-based work order system to update and close out Work Orders in a timely manner
Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner
Attend work and safety meetings as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent Years of relevant experience
Pneumatic tool repair knowledge
Have a minimum of 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, pneumatic tool repair, basic plumbing and basic electrical
Comfortable using Outlook mail and calendar as well as Microsoft word and Excel
Strong Customer Service skills
