The Manager of Fraternal Budget, Resources & Vendors oversees budgeting for various fraternal departments, manages vendor relationships, and coordinates the production of resources necessary for operations and training.

Responsibilities

Creates annual budgets for all fraternal departments
Monitors budget adherence in real time throughout the fiscal year
Performs budget variance analysis and advises department heads on required actions
Recommends midyear budget revisions to accommodate unexpected changes and emergent needs
Reports projected overruns in a timely manner and recommends corrective actions
Trains department managers on required budgetary procedures
Acts as fraternal departments’ liaison with the accounting department and makes managerial accounting recommendations to support efficient manager decision making
Coordinates, along with the procurement department, relationships with vendors of equipment and materials required for all fraternal departments. Assures the timely production, availability, and delivery of all required items
Manages the production and distribution of all fraternal department reference materials and resources. Coordinates with content originators, graphic designers, layout personnel, and translators
Travels occasionally to state and district meetings and serves as the Supreme Representative or fills supporting roles for conventions, etc

Required

Knights of Columbus membership required
Successful council officer and director experience required ideally including Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator, and District Deputy
Knowledge of the Knights of Columbus culture, principles, laws, and practices
Understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church and the ability to articulate them
Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
High attention to detail
Strong writing skills
Strong public speaking skills and experience
Excellent typing/word processing skills
Excellent editing and proofreading skills
Advanced Degree: Master of Business Administration
1-3 years related work experience or equivalent training and experience
Authorization To Work In The United States Is Required
