Responsibilities
Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in current practices
Create and distribute weekly reports to enable accurate and timely processing for billing
Prepare monthly scorecards and reports for senior management and external clients
Participate in projects relating to the results of the reconciliation to ensure timely processing which include accessing EMR/Charge capture systems to process and review records
Lead coordination and communication of reconciliation results
Document any identified gaps in reconciliation procedures and work with the team leaders and managers to find resolution
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Basic level knowledge of SQL
One year in data analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion that are sound, accurate and supported by the reasoning and inclusion of appropriate people
Proactive and able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines
Must be able to interact well with all kinds of people
Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives in a timely fashion
Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
Touch-typing skills, 40 wpm required
Basic touch 10 key skills
Basic Math skills
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred
One year in medical billing
Touch-typing skills, 50 wpm preferred
