Responsibilities
Maintain strong floor presence and support staff/resident needs
Participate in an every-third-week on-call rotation (evenings, nights, weekends)
Assist DON with hiring, performance management, and annual reviews
Support daily clinical operations and serve as backup for DON/RCM
Develop and manage schedules for LNAs, MNAs, and Charge Nurses
Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet resident acuity and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with NH He-P 805 regulations and internal policies
Assist with state survey readiness, audits, and corrective action planning
Participate in resident admissions, transfers, and quality initiatives
Maintain accurate EMS packets, emergency contacts, and clinical documentation
Develop and maintain an annual training plan aligned with NH 805 requirements
Oversee new hire orientation, including classroom training, skills validation, shadowing, and documentation
Monitor and evaluate staff competency, providing ongoing coaching and feedback
Maintain and audit service plans, assessments, and documentation
Qualification
Required
1–3 years' experience in assisted living, long-term care, or related healthcare setting
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact)
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required
Preferred
Experience with NH He-P 805 regulations preferred
PointClickCare experience strongly preferred
Experience with staff training, scheduling, or clinical coordination preferred
