Responsibilities
Full cycle ownership of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation using accounting software, Quickbooks Online
Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
Proactive error identification and resolution
Clear and concise communication with colleagues and other departments
Cooperation with sales and account management to ensure purchase orders are funded
Revenue recognition working with account management and global operations teams
Reconciliation of financials statements and reports
Review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and journal entries creation
Drafting of month-end reports
Management, set-up and maintenance of cloud-based financial and operations tools including Quickbooks Online
Generate reports and gather data to support annual financial audit and tax return
Document and maintain company process and procedure material, including development of work instructions for AR and AP
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Able to read and analyze financial statements
Strong skills in MS Excel
Fast learner and adaptor of cloud-based tools
Articulate and concise writing ability
Strong analytic and data analysis skills
Ability to work autonomously and self-motivated
Proactive and problem-solving nature
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail is essential
Preferred
Experience working with QuickBooks Online
