Vice President of Sales - West
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is a long-term care pharmacy dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 7–10 Sales Directors across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with national growth objectives and performance targets
Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market sales strategy that drives revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand visibility in the IDD and behavioral health pharmacy space
Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for Sales Directors, ensuring consistent pipeline development and conversion across territories
Coach and mentor Sales Directors to elevate performance, foster leadership development, and build a high-performing, results-oriented sales culture
Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement teams to deliver tailored messaging, sales tools, and training that support regional strategies and customer engagement
Drive demand generation initiatives through digital campaigns, trade shows, CE events, and strategic partnerships, ensuring regional teams are equipped to capitalize on opportunities
Implement data-driven sales processes, leveraging Hubspot CRM and analytics platforms to monitor performance, forecast revenue, and optimize territory coverage
Ensure cross-functional alignment with product, client success, and operations to support seamless onboarding, retention, and customer satisfaction
Provide strategic insights and feedback to executive leadership on market trends, competitive dynamics, and regional performance
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations (DSCSA, HIPAA, Medicaid/Medicare) in all sales activities and communications
Recruit and onboard top-tier sales talent, building scalable processes and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 7 years in healthcare, life sciences, or B2B services with complex sales cycles
Demonstrated success in creating and executing integrated sales strategies that drive measurable pipeline growth and revenue
Deep knowledge of demand generation, account-based sales strategies, industry conferences, trade shows, and events
Strong experience with data and analytics, reporting, and technology platforms (HubSpot, Tableau, automation tools, etc.)
Proven ability to differentiate a brand and build market awareness in highly competitive industries
Track record of partnering with marketing to align on ICPs, targeting, messaging, and sales enablement
High capacity for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and ROI-focused mindset
Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills to influence at all levels and work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Strong leadership presence with the ability to build and inspire teams and foster a culture of accountability and innovation
Intellectual curiosity and ability to navigate complex technical, clinical, and regulatory topics
Change leadership experience—able to drive transformation in a matrixed organization undergoing significant growth and evolution
Ability to travel regularly across the regional pharmacy locations
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a closely related discipline is required
Preferred
Private equity experience is preferred but not required
Masters of Business Administration preferred but not required
