Electrophysiology Technician
Providence is a leading healthcare provider committed to patient-focused care. The Electrophysiology Technician will assist physicians in the Electrophysiology Lab and perform various technical and patient care responsibilities during procedures.

Responsibilities
Prepare for and assist the physician in the testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab procedures
Perform as a monitor tech and scrub tech; maintaining sterile technique
Perform/review baseline patient assessment, evaluate patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures, provide patient care and administer drugs commonly used in the EP lab as directed by a qualified physician
Proficient in basic cardiac life support
Proficient in the operation and maintenance, as specific by the manufacturer, of all diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment used for procedures
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology, or equivalent education/experience
Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire, Or
Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire, Or
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
6 months - cardiac internship during education
EP experience in a technical capacity
Preferred
Coursework/Training: Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program
Two (2) years prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory
