Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate code compilation, testing, containerization, and deployment across GitLab CI, and integrated Azure services
Collaborate with cloud, software, and security teams to ensure pipeline design, infrastructure, and security controls align with Azure cloud architecture and program requirements
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments
Provide enablement and mentorship by guiding engineering teams on secure coding practices, pipeline standards, and DevSecOps best practices
Apply continuous monitoring and log analysis to detect anomalies, enforce security baselines, and improve operational visibility across environments
Troubleshoot and resolve operational and security issues to maintain system reliability, performance, and availability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience building, maintaining, and automating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
Experience with Python and scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell
Experience working with Linux‑based operating systems
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 6 years to be considered
Preferred
Experience operating and supporting workloads in an Azure cloud environment
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Experience automating workflows and integrating tools within CI/CD and cloud environments
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
Experience using Agile software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD platforms)
Current Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it
