IT Project Manager - Central Office - Decatur, GA (ADM)
The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking an experienced Information Technology Project Manager with strong knowledge of network infrastructure and HVS/VoIP systems. This position will lead agency technology projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT projects from planning through closeout
Manage projects with a strong emphasis on network infrastructure and HVS/VoIP implementations
Coordinate schedules, resources, and vendors to ensure successful delivery
Develop project plans, timelines, status reports, risk logs, and documentation
Manage project scope, budget, and schedules using change-control processes
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
Track milestones, deliverables, and performance against project objectives
Conduct risk management and issue resolution activities
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and conduct lessons-learned reviews
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of recent relevant project management experience with a progression in responsibility and eligibility to sit for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year
Preferred
PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or other recognized project management certification
Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server)
Experience in public sector, corrections, or highly regulated environments
Experience managing large-scale infrastructure initiatives across multiple locations
Working knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
Demonstrated experience supporting: Network infrastructure projects, HVS/VoIP deployment, migration, or upgrades
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
