Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, validation, and release of ECU components
Perform root cause analysis to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues using structured problem-solving methods
Develop, maintain, and enforce engineering best practices, including core DFMEA and DVP documentation for driveline systems
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance product design, processes, and performance
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and peer engineers
Identify opportunities to reduce total warranty costs and propose effective technical countermeasures
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, including design reviews, reports, and project status updates for stakeholders
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating innovative solutions into product designs

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline
3+ years of experience in automotive engineering, with an emphasis on electrical systems and components
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
DFSS Green Belt certification
Demonstrated experience translating functional intent into detailed technical requirements
Hands-on experience with DFMEA and DVP&R processes
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
