Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of benefit booklets, employee communications, and open enrollment materials (printing, assembly, and distribution support)
Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple clients and proactively follow up internally to ensure timelines are met
Assist in coordinating benefits processing activities such as enrollments, terminations, life events, dependent adds/drops, and beneficiary changes (under supervision of AM/AE)
Support COBRA processing coordination by assisting with documentation gathering and routing items to the appropriate carrier/vendor
Collect required employee and employer data (census, payroll, effective dates, forms) and ensure completeness before submitting
Request and collect billing statements from carriers/vendors and route to the assigned team member for review
Assist with billing reconciliations by flagging missing items, discrepancies, and enrollment changes needing review
Support ongoing documentation hygiene to ensure information is complete and aligned with Bryson standards
Maintain clear communication with internal team members and help route client requests to the correct owner quickly and professionally
Provide responsive and courteous support to client employees when needed (directing questions appropriately)
Support the Bryson “WOW” service model by delivering personal touch, accountability, and resolution-driven follow through
Support consistent use of internal tools including Applied Epic (CRM), Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Slack
Assist with updating tasks, timelines, and internal notes so client requests are not delayed or lost
Help keep department workflows organized by preparing checklists, gathering required information, and identifying missing pieces early
Support special projects assigned by the Director, EB Team Lead, or Account Managers to improve organization, client delivery, and team efficiency
Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, producers, insurance carriers, and internal partners
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, manage difficult situations professionally, and respond to the client promptly

Required

1+ year experience in an administrative support role (HR, benefits, brokerage, or healthcare preferred)
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Comfort working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to learn new systems quickly (Epic, Teams, Slack, EASE/benefits platforms)

Preferred

Prior experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage, HR admin, or carrier/vendor coordination
California Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days, depending on role scope)
Bachelor's degree
