Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; observe for unusual conditions and report findings per post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and coordination with site leadership and/or public responders as directed
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate updates during shift turnovers, and assist with access control tasks such as directing foot traffic, verifying authorization when assigned, and documenting entries and/or deliveries
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
