Responsibilities
Assist in the design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives
Collaborate with architects to translate high-level designs into actionable plans
Configure and deploy hardware, software, cloud, and network components
Collaborate on infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Continuously evaluate and optimize infrastructure components for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance infrastructure
Provide advanced technical support for complex infrastructure issues
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve incidents and problems
Participate in incident response efforts when necessary
Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and incident reports
Share knowledge with team members and contribute to the development of best practices
Assist in implementing security measures and compliance standards within the infrastructure
Ensure infrastructure components adhere to industry regulations and internal policies
Manage and administer servers, cloud services, including e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware, software, and peripheral devices
Adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other First Guaranty Bank policies
This role may require travel to branch locations
Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support
Proficiency in infrastructure design, including networking, virtualization, and server technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with IT teams and understanding of technology solutions
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Expert IT Knowledge (Network/Systems/Storage/Scripting)
Banking or other financial industry-related experience
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNP) preferred
