Responsibilities
Assess different LLMs and prompt strategies
Partner with subject matter experts to identify key findings in current reports
Develop a basic model for automated text summarization
Evaluate the accuracy of generated summaries
Develop an informative and engaging presentation describing your project
Qualification
Required
must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May; or if graduating from a bachelor's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester; or if graduating from a master's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester
must be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems (various), Industrial Engineering or Economics or related field and be a current junior or above (rising senior or above as of the program start in Summer 2026) or a graduate student
intermediate knowledge of Python, and SQL
basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Access
must have an interest in data analysis
must have some knowledge of statistics
must have some knowledge of at least one computer programming language
Preferred
advanced knowledge of SQL
advanced knowledge of Python
