Responsibilities

Performs data pack and shipping document review

Reviews inspection/test failure and rejection reports to identify project failure trends and provides recommendations for corrective action

Assists Quality Engineering and Quality Inspection in the development of inspection plans

Provide assistance to inspection personnel in the identification and resolution of problems encountered during hardware flow to ensure acceptable quality levels are maintained

Performs system and process audits

Performs actual inspection of hardware when required

Qualification

Machining backgroundAdvanced measurement techniquesGD&T knowledgeCMM operationInspection planning

Required

Must be a US Citizen

High school Diploma or equivalent

1-3 years experience

Strong machining background

Knowledge of advanced measurement techniques for spline gears, ring gears etc

Advanced GD&T knowledge

Prior CMM operation
