Responsibilities
Verify vendor invoices against supporting documentation to ensure accuracy
Enter invoice details into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail
Perform coding of invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures
Prepare and execute check runs for timely payments
Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes
Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or payment issues
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage to manage financial data
Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company guidelines
Provide support during month-end and year-end financial processes
Ensure all accounts payable activities are completed within established deadlines
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role
Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
Knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and check runs
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members
Familiarity with financial regulations and accounts payable procedures
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred
Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements
