Responsibilities
Design and operate a modern, cloud-agnostic lakehouse architecture (AWS/GovCloud) using object storage, SQL/ELT engines, and dbt
Build systems for model registry, drift detection, and automated testing (MLflow, etc.)
Build scalable ingestion pipelines for FHIR R4, HL7 v2, and Medicaid/Medicare claims
Build ingestion/vectorization pipelines for RAG systems to support public health guidance
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and NIST AI RMF standards using privacy-by-design principles
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years in data engineering, ML platform engineering, or cloud data architecture
Expert in Python, SQL, dbt, and orchestration tools (Airflow/Glue)
Deep experience with AWS/AWS GovCloud and IaC (Terraform)
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with clients and stakeholders
Preferred
Strong preference for experience with Healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) and GovCon environments
