InternEOS Defense Systems USA, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The role involves analyzing workflows, conducting time and motion studies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities
Assist in analyzing and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate work methods and recommend process improvements
Write Work Instructions for Assembly
Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to resolve manufacturing issues
Assist in designing and optimizing workflows, layouts, and workstation ergonomics
Participate in cost-reduction projects by improving material flow, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to production performance and process enhancements
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all production activities
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment. - Preferred

Qualification
Required
Junior or senior year in Industrial Engineering or related field of study
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and industrial engineering techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with SolidWorks, or any other CAD software is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and organization skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
