Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines, laser cutters, and other manufacturing assets to keep uptime high
Service finishing equipment including blasters, vibratory bowls, and Ransohoff flow-through parts washers
Build, document, and execute Preventive Maintenance plans for production and facility equipment; keep schedules current and complete
Diagnose electrical issues using wiring diagrams; work safely across 110V single-phase up to 480V three-phase systems
Plan and carry out safe electrical power drops to machines and workstations for multiple voltage configurations
Install and maintain industrial fans for process ventilation and facility cooling
Repair and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and control components
Weld and fabricate custom brackets, supports, and safety guards using MIG, TIG, or Stick methods
Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals to guide accurate repairs and improvements
Partner with Engineering and Operations to drive performance improvements and reduce unplanned downtime
Record work performed, PM activities, and service history with clarity and completeness
Model safe work practices; mentor junior techs in quality, productivity, and safety standards
Follow all company policies and safety regulations; help enforce compliance on the floor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
Hands-on background with CNC and laser systems
Hands-on background with blasting, vibratory, and parts-washing equipment (including Ransohoff)
Hands-on background with screw-type air compressors and dryers
Hands-on background with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to read/interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and OEM manuals
Experience installing and modifying electrical systems from 110V up to 480V
Competence with installation and troubleshooting of industrial ventilation and fans
Organized, clear communicator; able to work both independently and collaboratively
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and ladder work
Comfort with heat, cold, dust, and production noise
Preferred
Technical certification or an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance (or similar)
Welding and metal fabrication skills (MIG/TIG preferred)
Familiarity with CMMS tools and maintenance documentation is a plus
