Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for:
High-net-worth individuals
Partnerships & Pass-through entities
S-Corporations
C-Corporations
Trusts & Estates
Gift & Estate tax filings
Perform tax planning and projections for individuals and closely held businesses
Research tax issues and prepare technical memos and client-ready summaries
Work directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide guidance
Identify tax-saving opportunities and planning strategies
Assist with IRS and state tax notices and correspondence
Mentor and review work of junior staff
Stay current on tax law changes impacting clients
Qualification
Required
4+ years of tax experience in public accounting
Strong experience with HNW individuals and pass-through entities
Hands-on experience with S-Corp, C-Corp, partnership, trust, estate, and gift tax returns
Actively pursuing CPA or already licensed
Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
Excellent communication skills — able to explain tax matters clearly to clients
Preferred
Experience with tax planning for business owners
Exposure to multi-state tax issues
Experience mentoring staff
