Manage and maintain the City’s urban forest, parks, and right-of-way tree population
Plan and perform forestry, arboriculture, and landscape maintenance activities including tree planting, pruning, removals, inspections, equipment operation, and public interaction
Supervise crews
Coordinate contractors
Assist with grant projects
Respond to storm or emergency events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Ability to obtain aerial lift certification and Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical labor
Preferred
One to two years of related experience
