Responsibilities

Formally project manage the development, enhancement or retirement of complex information technology & business area solutions, systems, processes and services delivered
Working on the Minnesota State Emergency Communication Network to a new platform that supports both voice and data access
Managing several complex projects advancing in parallel, each involving multiple stakeholders and vendors

Required

minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing IT project management functions
911 industry experience
Knowledge of project procurement management: procurement planning, solicitation planning, solicitation, source selection, contract administration, and contract closeout
Knowledge of project risk management: Risk management planning, risk identification, qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning and risk monitoring and control
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences
Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
