The role involves hands-on development in .NET and React, architectural decision-making, and leading distributed teams while utilizing AI-assisted engineering tools.

Responsibilities
Lead a cross functional engineering stream working with .NET and React
Set technical direction for component architecture and integration patterns
Apply AI assisted coding tools such as Copilot and Cursor to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
Take responsibility for code reviews, standards, and optimisation of development workflows
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA and DevOps
Break down requirements into implementable tasks for the team
Resolve technical risks and ensure strong alignment with PwC guidelines
Act as the escalation point for technical blockers
Support developers through mentoring and hands on guidance
Qualification
Required
Senior engineering background with leadership responsibilities
Strong experience in .NET Core, .NET 6, .NET 7 or .NET 8
Solid experience building complex front ends with React and TypeScript
Mandatory experience using AI coding tools in daily work or consistent private development
Ability to design clean, scalable backend and frontend structures
Strong experience with API design and integration
Good SQL understanding and comfort with optimisation
Ability to manage backlog priorities and steer technical scope
Confident communication in English for daily cooperation with PwC
Clear ownership mindset and ability to push delivery forward
Preferred
Experience with Azure based architectures
Experience with microservices
Experience with automated testing
Previous lead roles in consulting projects
