Business Development Associate
Spartan Shield Solutions is a rapidly growing veteran-owned Fractional CFO and Outsourced Accounting firm based in Arlington, VA. They are seeking a vibrant, driven individual to help in a Business Development Associate capacity, focusing on generating new business and supporting the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service
Develop a thorough working knowledge of company services and pricing structures
Research and confirm leads, initiate outreach, and build meaningful engagement with perspective clients
Overcome objections and secure meetings with Executives of prospective clients
Supporting the Director of Business Development in understanding prospective clients’ needs and proposing appropriate service solutions
Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contract agreements
Travel to local networking events and clients meetings weekly
Travel out of town 5-10 times per year
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 1+ year of business development and prospecting new clients
Ability to multitask and possess strong customer interaction skills
Proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft applications and other standard office applications
Must have the ability to solve problems, apply new information, learn new skills, and possess critical thinking
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Background in Government Contractor experience preferred
