Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the administration and daily management of commercial loan portfolios
Provide direct support to Commercial Lenders, serving as a primary operational partner
Prepare, review, and approve commercial loan documentation
Manage and oversee the loan closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution
Serve as an ongoing point of contact for commercial loan customers in collaboration with Lenders
Oversee completion of information requests including lien searches, appraisals, engagement letters, and other due diligence items
Ensure timely collection, review, and tracking of borrower financial statements and supporting documentation
Coordinate with insurance representatives to ensure required coverage is obtained and maintained
Prepare and review customer correspondence, notices, and loan-related letters
Ensure legal documentation is properly recorded and conduct post-closing file reviews
Perform and oversee pre-closing and post-closing reviews for policy, regulatory, and documentation compliance
Manage letters of credit and related documentation
Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
Prepare, review, and oversee WAMs, as applicable
Train, mentor, and support loan administration staff
Identify and implement process improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk management
Serve as a technical resource and escalation point for complex loan structures and documentation issues for the Commercial Lending team (Manager level)
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of commercial loan administration or commercial lending experience
Advanced knowledge of commercial loan documentation, closing, and servicing
Strong understanding of banking regulations and internal compliance requirements
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational strong
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Ability to partner effectively with Commercial/Business Lenders and cross-functional teams
Preferred
Prior leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience strongly preferred
