Calibration Engineer
Engineering Technology Associates, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Engineer with expertise in engine or hybrid calibration. The role involves developing calibration algorithms for vehicle control modules, conducting data analysis, and troubleshooting calibration issues to enhance vehicle performance.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and refine calibration algorithms for vehicle control modules, focusing on OBD systems
Utilize programming tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, to create robust calibration models
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot calibration issues and improve system performance
Analyze data from testing procedures to optimize calibration parameters for emission control, fuel efficiency, and overall vehicle performance
Qualification
Required
2+ years (preferred 5+) direct, hands-on engine or hybrid calibration experience (drivability, emissions, or OBD)
Strong proficiency in calibration tools and data analysis (e.g., ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, MATLAB/Simulink)
Experience conducting on-road and test-cell calibration work (not only simulation or HIL)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering
Proven experience in OBDII and calibration within the automotive or vehicle industry
Strong knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, MATLAB/Simulink
Vehicle Emission experience required
OBD II: 2 years (Required)
Preferred
Engine or Chassis Dynamomter experience preferred
Engine or Chassis Dyno: 1 year (Preferred)
Advanced degrees are a plus
