Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance to reduce downtime
Troubleshoot a wide range of issues, from motors and pumps to PLCs and sensors
Complete preventative maintenance tasks to keep machines running at top performance
Support plant goals around safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability
Handle project work including equipment upgrades and installations
Collaborate with other team members to meet production schedules and improve operations
Qualification
Required
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food, chemical, or packaging preferred)
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and switches
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, valves, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyor systems
Positive attitude, team-oriented, and eager to learn and improve
Preferred
Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred
Welding, pipefitting, fabrication, boiler, or HVAC experience is a plus
AAS or technical training preferred — or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting in manufacturing
