Responsibilities
Take ownership, lead, and drive resolution of critical customer escalations
Proven experience in routing technologies, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex routing networks
Apply analytical skills to solve high-complexity product and network problems
Support Cisco customer-facing teams and provide deployment project status updates
Act as a trusted advisor to customer facing teams and customers, understanding their business needs and delivering technical solutions that drive customer success
Identify systematic issues, initiate and drive resolution of long-term solutions to improve customer experience and product stability
Drive innovation and improvements in routing technologies and operational processes to enhance network performance and reliability
Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to support team and customer enablement
Stay updated on new technologies and products in the Service Provider market segment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in STEM with 7+ years of network engineering experience
Proven experience working with protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, BFD, Segment Routing, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS TE/FRR, L2/L3VPN, RSVP, Multicast (v4/v6)
Demonstrated experience working projects with a focus on routing and network infrastructure
Experience with Linux and open-source technologies
Demonstrated experience in network engineering roles, with demonstrated expertise in routing technologies, troubleshooting and resolving complex routing and network issues
Preferred
CCIE Routing or CCIE Service Provider certification
Familiarity with Cisco's internal organization and ecosystem
Master's degree in STEM
Experience with IOS XR platform architectures (Cisco 8000, NCS5500/5700, ASR9K, NCS540, NCS560)
Practical knowledge of AI concepts and applications
