Project Manager, Work Transfer/Production Relocation

Responsibilities

Support development of Work Transfer process maturity focused on Supply Chain and supporting Quality and Engineering teams
Support Work Transfer alignment across business units within RTX
Frequent communication to internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions, management levels and aerospace/defense supply base
Provide project management and team leadership in order to successfully execute work transfers
Understanding and mitigating key risks and timing constraints related to work transfer projects
Apply the CORE tools and methodology to increase efficiency and maturity

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience
Work Transfer and Production Relocation experience
Previous experience in Project Management, specifically in the development of business relationships with cross-functional organizations and stakeholder engagement
Experience in the design, development and deployment of critical business processes
Experience with manufacturing processes
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Masters in Engineering / Technical or MBA
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
Self-starter, ability to work with little direction
Experience with risk and opportunity management
Experience with supply chain processes and related systems
Experience in managing multiple priorities and maintaining deadlines
Experience with production location moves
Experience in aerospace/ defense product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery
Practical experience with commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and standards or a commercial equivalent - i.e., AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, AS9145
Experience with data collection, analysis, and governance
Raytheon CORE certification or similar industry standard (Six Sigma, etc.)
