Work with the communications coordinator on city communication activities, including the website, social media, and various projects
Manage the various aspects of the city's annual photography contest
Create effective and engaging graphic designs and write for various communications channels
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in the communications field
Ability to work with the communications coordinator on city communication activities
Experience with website management
Experience with social media management
Ability to manage various aspects of the city's annual photography contest
Skills in creating effective and engaging graphic designs
Ability to write for various communications channels
Willingness to learn about the day-to-day operations of communications in local government
Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week during regular business hours from May to mid-August
