Designs, implements and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing and product availability. Develops negotiation strategies to create a win-win relationship between the company and suppliers
Assists in identifying new, high potential suppliers
Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information
Builds stable working relationships internally
Works on issues of limited scope. Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
Receives predetermined assignments subject to moderate
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
