Engineering Intern Summer 2026 Undergraduate

They are seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2026, providing hands-on exposure to the medical device industry, where interns will assist in design, development, and technical support of projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support of research or product development projects
Research, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions or methods to improve systems, processes, or programs with respect to safety, performance, efficiency, and cost
Support engineering activities such as technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk and cost analysis, and overall system evaluation
Collaborate in small teams on real-world medical device engineering projects
Strengthen technical skills through engineering presentations, training sessions, and guest lectures
Participate in career development workshops and professional skill-building activities
Receive guidance and mentorship from both a direct manager and an experienced technical engineer
Build meaningful connections with peers who are passionate about advancing patient care
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a bachelor's degree program or higher in engineering or a related discipline
Eligible fields include (but are not limited to): Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Manufacturing, Materials, Packaging, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Petroleum, Safety, Supply Chain, Bioengineering, Construction Management, and Industrial & Systems Engineering
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
Open to current high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026 or first-year college students pursuing a science or engineering degree
Expected college graduation date of Spring 2029 or Spring 2030
Must be 18 years of age or older at the start of the internship
