Responsibilities
Manage a full family law caseload from intake through final resolution
Handle divorce, pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, timesharing, parenting plans, alimony, child support, and domestic violence matters
Prepare and argue motions; conduct discovery, take depositions, and attend mediations
Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in family law
Draft petitions, motions, pleadings, discovery, and all required legal documentation
Collaborate with colleagues while independently managing caseload responsibilities
Mentor junior attorneys or support staff when needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of family law experience
Active Florida Bar license in good standing
Familiarity with the Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure
Strong legal research and writing skills
Experience with hearings, mediations, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work
Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client advocacy
