Responsibilities
Litigate complex commercial disputes including Yellowstone injunctions, holdover proceedings, and breach actions in Supreme Court and appellate venues
Draft motions, briefs, and strategies for summary judgments and appeals in high-value leasing and property conflicts
Handle discovery, depositions, and hearings in administrative law, land use, and tax certiorari matters
Advise on distressed assets, bankruptcies, and joint venture disputes for major developers and investors
Collaborate across disciplines on integrated solutions for iconic NYC real estate projects from inception to resolution
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active New York State Bar admission
2+ years of experience in commercial real estate litigation
Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and commercial leasing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes
Preferred
Experience with administrative law and tax certiorari matters
Familiarity with zoning and bankruptcy issues
Prior experience working with diverse client bases including developers and investors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
