Responsibilities

Performs developmental assignments. Receives phoned in calls or in person service orders or work requests, processes service order/work requests/labor and equipment, and determines initial response classification (i.e., emergency, urgent, routine)
Receives and maintains strict control of work requests submitted. Reviews work requests for sufficiency and administrative requirements
Assists Engineering Operations staff by reviewing data generated by the IFS-M to identify expenditures of funds on service orders and to identify trends involving individual requests for work accomplishment
Providing customer service initializes the coordination effort in providing information or work requirements
Maintain accurate Supply information in CEMAS on purchasing, issues and suspense's pre-approved materials voucher and assorted tools for various Self-Help projects
Responsible for the daily controlling and scheduling of work for all shops
Receives and reviews all Civil Engineer work requests (AF Form 33) and direct schedule work requests to determine propriety of request and priority
Maintains control of all work requests and work orders in the TRIRIGA
Provides quality customer service and establishes good working relationships with all employees and co-workers
Acts as the front-line CE customer interface in receiving, reviewing, and defining appropriate work classification, priorities, and processing all Civil Engineering (CE) service requests and transitioning them to TRIRIGA work tasks
Ensures the work assignments are accomplished in accordance with the appropriate regulations and within established timeframes
Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing all Civil Engineering Service Requests/Work Tasks and facility files associated with all work performed in facilities
Assists in maintaining and revising the Facility Manager (FM) listing to ensure current primary and alternates are assigned as required

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems
Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university
A combination of education and experience as described above may be used to qualify for this position
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, or equivalent in other pay systems

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of facility maintenance control methods, Recurring Work Programs (RWP) and procedures as they pertain to TRIRIGA
Knowledge of format, rules, procedures and operations applicable to clerical assignments to prepare/review routine correspondence/reports, screen telephone calls and visitors, maintain files/records, review and process mail, and perform clerical procedures to arrange a variety of material from different sources and other administrative work of organization
Skill in typing: a qualified typist is required to operate personal computer
Ability to locate, assembles, and composes information for routine reports, inquiries, and non-technical correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and writing, using tact and courtesy
Knowledge of regulations, procedures, and policies related to records maintenance and documentation
Knowledge of governing Civil Engineer (CE) regulations, policies, and instructions and extensive knowledge of CE craft/trades, concepts, principles, and techniques for application of work control, work scheduling, work order prioritization, labor inputs, report retrievals, and customer service
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs
Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports
Knowledge of CES Work Control, Customer Service, and Service Call procedures
Knowledge of CE's work centers and type of work performed by each, Air Force Instructions, practices, and procedures pertaining to CE operations
Knowledge of TRIRIGA automated data processing concepts, system capabilities, and economic usage to effectively accomplish assigned functions
Extensive knowledge of rules, procedures, and operations applicable to real property management
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy and maintain good working relations
Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish the mission, apply safety, security, and environmental standards, regulations and requirements
