Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain Cobol programs and applications on mainframe systems
Analyze existing Cobol applications for enhancements and optimizations
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mainframe applications
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Maintain documentation of configurations and amendments
Support deployment and production activities
Qualification
Required
8+ of experience as a Mainframe Developer with a focus on Cobol
Strong understanding of mainframe environments, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, and other related technologies
Experience with debugging and performance tuning
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
