Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions
Manage cash, banking activity, and intercompany balances
Track budget vs. actual results and report variances to senior leadership
Prepare monthly financial statements in coordination with external CPA
Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial records
Support audits and required local, state, and federal filings
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payments
Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Provide general office and administrative support as needed
Assist with scheduling, document management, and internal coordination
Support leadership with basic reporting and spreadsheet preparation
Qualification
Required
3+ years of accounting experience including AP, AR, and general ledger
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience in a small to mid-sized organization preferred
Manufacturing or cost accounting experience a plus
