Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend and API automation frameworks using Core Java
Perform REST API testing using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, and custom automation frameworks
Create and execute automated unit, integration, and acceptance test cases
Validate complex data flows, integrations, and backend services
Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, and Gradle
Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
Support testing efforts within a large-scale enterprise financial services environment
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java
Proven experience in backend and REST API testing
Hands-on experience with Rest Assured, Postman, and custom test automation frameworks
Solid understanding of automated testing concepts and best practices
Experience testing data pipelines, integrations, or backend services
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, and Gradle
Prior experience in enterprise environments; financial services experience is a plus
