Business Systems Analyst
Medasource is a company supporting a large healthcare system, and they are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to contribute to the Enterprise Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The role involves overseeing and developing processes for Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) to ensure secure and efficient access management across the organization.
Responsibilities
Partner with Human Resources (HR) and Local Market stakeholders to analyze user needs and group users into roles based on common job responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain processes and ownership for role lifecycle management
Plan and facilitate periodic role reviews and certifications with HR and Market stakeholders
Define strategy and processes for:
Assigning roles to users
Managing and maintaining user access rights
Ensure all IAM processes comply with Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements and protect sensitive data
Lead the review, analysis, and creation of detailed IAM process documentation, including workflows and procedural steps
Document procedures, policies, and controls related to the scope of this role
Organize documentation to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and ease of use
Ensure high content quality through editing, review, and analysis
Research and resolve end-user access issues in a timely and effective manner
Advise management on information security policies, standards, procedures, risks, and security violations
Lead and organize project team meetings using Agile methodologies
Facilitate clear, structured discussions with stakeholders regarding risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment with dedicated security administration and security management responsibilities
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) access protocols
Experience with user provisioning technologies
Experience with application and/or database security administration
Demonstrated experience implementing IAM workflows and automation using industry best practices
Strong understanding of user administration procedures
Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) administration and IAM platforms
Familiarity with ITIL processes
Excellent time management, project management, customer service, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
