Senior Governance Program Analyst

ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. They are seeking an experienced staff action officer to serve as a Senior Governance Program Analyst supporting an Office of the Secretary of Defense client, assisting with promoting unity of effort and facilitating decision-making at the senior-most levels of the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative, logistical, and analytical support for the planning and execution of governance forum meetings, including the development and maintenance of plans of actions and milestones, invitations, agendas, senior leader talking points, briefings and information papers, attendance rosters, meeting summaries, and post-meeting action tracking
Ensure adherence to required timelines and compliance with security, protocol, and other DoD requirements
Coordinate with internal and external DoD stakeholders on all aspects of governance meetings, including read-ahead distribution and attendance
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and attendee and POC rosters
Support the tracking, analysis, and scheduling of meeting topics
Track metrics and lessons learned for the continuous improvement of governance forum processes, meetings, and outcomes
Maintain forum SharePoint sites and other collaboration tools
Other duties as assigned

Required

Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., event planning, project management, business administration, government) with ten years of professional experience; will consider a high school diploma with an additional four years of related experience for a total of 14 years of professional experience
Prior experience coordinating cross-functional efforts or meetings
Experience supporting GO/FO/SES clients or similar leaders
Experience developing and coordinating tasks in CATMS or other task management and / or planning tools
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

Preferred

Prior experience supporting clients at the OSD level
Experience supporting a senior board executive secretariat and / or experience planning and executing senior leader governance forums, at the 3- or 4- star (or equivalent) levels
Experience using Microsoft Planner
Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
