Responsibilities
Planning and/or leading organized games
Hands-on projects - arts/crafts, healthy food activities and science projects
Preparing snack following Office of Child Care regulations
Assisting with other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be available for every morning OR afternoon for program consistency
Must have current 90 hour child care certification (45 hours in Growth & Development AND 45 hours in School Age Curriculum or equivalent)
Must have 400 hours supervising school aged children
Must have completion certificates for Basic Health and Safety and Including All Children and the ADA
Must successfully pass a criminal background check, state and federal
All applicants must have OR be able to obtain certification in Standard First Aid, CPR, Basic Health & Safety Training and other Office of Child Care classes
Candidates must also be able to supply any of the following to get qualified by OCC: High school diploma, unofficial college transcript and/or child care course certificates
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
Preferred
Previous leadership or teaching experience
Background in education, recreation, exercise and/or sports science or related fields
