Digital Hardware Engineer
GodHeir Services is a leading innovator in the aerospace and defense sector, seeking a skilled Digital Hardware Engineer. In this role, you will take ownership of the full hardware lifecycle, from conceptualizing high-level requirements to seeing designs through manufacturing and into field deployment.
Computer Software
Responsibilities
Design and integrate embedded microprocessor systems featuring ARM cores, DDR memory interfaces, USB, and Ethernet
Perform design simulation and analysis using tools like LTSpice, HyperLynx, and MATLAB
Lead the full PCB design cycle, including requirements analysis, schematic capture (Mentor tools), and high-speed layout analysis
Execute subsystem and system-level Verification & Validation (V&V) using lab equipment to identify and resolve hardware defects
Design for compliance with MIL-STD-461 (EMI/EMC) and IPC standards for high-reliability environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience (4+ years with a relevant Master's degree)
Comprehensive experience with high-speed digital protocols and embedded microprocessor design
Proven hands-on experience with PCB design tools and simulation/analysis software
Expertise in hardware testing, verification, and validation methodologies
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
Preferred
Familiarity with Software Defined Radio (SDR) architectures
Experience with hardware-software integration using embedded software, Python, or VHDL
Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Agile PLM)
Experience with Boundary Scan (JTAG) tools for PCB testing
