Sales Development Representative
Scout Global is a security start-up looking for a Founding Sales Development Representative to join their team at a pivotal growth stage. The role involves building outbound strategies, generating qualified pipelines, and engaging with technical buyers to influence revenue and product direction.

Responsibilities
Build pipeline from scratch through strategic outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
Research, identify, and engage target accounts across security, engineering, DevOps, and cloud teams
Run multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, events, communities)
Conduct high-quality discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and qualify opportunities
Book high-impact meetings and demos for Account Executives and founders
Develop messaging, positioning, and outbound sequences aligned to real market feedback
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to refine ICP, personas, and GTM strategy
Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and pipeline forecasting
Represent the business professionally in early customer interactions, events, and community forums
Help define sales playbooks, qualification frameworks, and outbound best practices
Qualification
Required
1–4+ years of experience in BDR / SDR / sales development roles within B2B SaaS
Experience selling enterprise security solutions specifically
Comfortable prospecting into highly technical personas (Security, DevOps, Platform, Engineering, CISOs)
Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curious, coachable, and eager to learn highly technical products
Organized, data-driven, and disciplined with follow-up and CRM management
Passionate about cybersecurity and excited to build something from the ground up
