This role involves keeping production running smoothly while driving continuous improvement in throughput, quality, uptime, and efficiency in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Own manufacturing process performance for assigned products and production lines
Act as the primary escalation point for process, equipment, and workflow issues
Provide hands-on daily engineering support to production
Develop, maintain, and control visual work instructions and SOPs
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and enhance quality
Support quality through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Manage production equipment, including selection, setup, and maintenance planning
Train and support production staff on processes, equipment, and controls
Partner with R&D during new product introduction
Establish and maintain process metrics and performance data
Support limited offshore manufacturing (1–2 trips per year as needed)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience
Proven ability to own and improve manufacturing processes
Strong problem-solving skills (RCA, FMEA, structured improvement methods)
Experience creating visual work instructions and SOPs
Comfortable working directly on the production floor
Strong communication skills with operators and technical teams
Preferred
