Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for all US financial compliance
Ensuring compliance with both state and federal tax filings
Management and monitoring of sales tax compliance state by state
Preparation of accurate and timely federal, state and any other tax return requirements
Liaise with global finance on intercompany activity and analysis
Supporting audits and implementing business improvements/processes to support audit requirements
Internal and external reporting for all US operations - month end/balance sheet reconciliation and overhead analysis
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience in accounting, ideally within manufacturing but not essential
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Strong knowledge of state sales tax and corporate tax returns (1120)
Ability to work independently
